You may have seen the news that Babble is the Title Partner for what is now known as the Babble Ride Across Britain, formerly the Deloitte Ride Across Britain.
This nine day, 980-mile challenge takes a team of 800 cyclists from Land’s End to John o’Groats, exploring some of the UK’s most iconic scenery.
Being the Title Partner for this bucket list event is a real privilege for our team here at Babble. Not only is it an opportunity to connect with our customers, colleagues, partners and our wider communities, but it also helps us to deliver on our commitment to be a force for good and support a number of incredible causes.
This year, we’re partnering with the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation to raise £250k through the Babble Ride Across Britain and our wider fundraising activities. The foundation was set up by the late Scottish international rugby player, Doddie Weir, after he announced he had been diagnosed with motor neuron disease (MND) in 2017. The charity is committed to funding research for effective treatments for MND to achieve their goal of A World Free of MND.

Join us on the Babble Ride Across Britain in September
We’re taking a team of 80 riders, affectionately known as the Babble RABble, to complete this epic adventure in September this year (7th-15th) and if you’re a Babble customer or partner, we would love for you to join us.

Take on the Virtual Babble Ride Across Britain Challenge – join for free
We want to inspire as many people as possible to take on the Babble Ride Across Britain. That’s why we’re delighted that we are partnering with indoor cycling platform, Rouvy, to bring you the Virtual Ride Across Britain.
Using Rouvy, and Augmented Reality technology, you can now experience seven iconic sections from the Babble Ride Across Britain adventure from the comfort of your own home as part of the Virtual Babble Ride Across Britain Challenge. Running 29th January – 3rd March, those who complete the challenge will be entered into a draw to win a number of prizes.
Don’t worry if you don’t have time to complete the challenge by 3rd March. The seven Babble Ride Across Britain stages will still be available once the challenge is complete.

Join us on a group ride with James Golding
We will also be using the Virtual Babble Ride Across Britain platform to host a virtual ride exclusively for our customers. Our CEO, Matt Parker, will be joined by endurance cyclist and Babble ambassador James Golding. James is currently training for the world’s toughest bike race, Race Across America, and will be joining us on the Babble Ride Across Britain 2024.
James described the Babble Ride Across Britain as, “The best multi-day event I’ve ever done,” and it’s also Matt’s “favourite week of the year”. To hear more from them on why this is so, please register to join our virtual group ride on 13th March at 7pm.
