Rapidly growing Unified Comms, Contact Centre and Cyber Solutions provider, Babble, has today announced that the company has become the new lead partner for Ride Across Britain in 2022.
The move is part of Babble’s commitment to fundraising over £500,000 for charities including the Prince’s Trust and the Buffalo Foundation. The new partnership extends Babble’s goals of driving tangible, positive social impact, supporting young people to achieve their goals, as well as taking the friends of Babble on a fantastic journey.
Ride Across Britain – Powered by Babble, takes 900 cyclists on an epic 980-miles journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats, showcasing Britain’s most breath-taking scenery over nine days. This bucket list cycling challenge is a true test of stamina, attracting both intermediate and seasoned riders, who receive unrivalled support throughout. Over 25% of FTSE100 companies have been represented in the last three event years, with over 600 companies taking part.
Matt Parker, Babble CEO said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to be the lead partner of Ride Across Britain. I personally know how fantastic this challenge is and the sense of achievement crossing the finish line brings – 2022 will be my 8th RAB and I am looking forward to sharing this amazing experience with colleagues, clients, partners & friends – The Babble RAB(ble), creating memories and raising money for two of my favourite charities.”
Nick Tuppen, CEO of Threshold Sports, one of the UK’s fastest growing sports events agencies and the organisers of Ride Across Britain, said, “It is fantastic to have Babble stepping up to take the lead partner slot on Ride Across Britain 2022. The fact that Matt and the team are going to be raising much-needed money for the Prince’s Trust along the way is characteristic of a company putting social purpose at the heart of everything. To do so when many are looking inwards to deal with economic headwinds is a testament to their commitment to operating as a responsible business. Matthew is a RAB alumnus who has witnessed the benefits of the event first-hand over recent years and I have no doubt Babble’s existing and future clients are going to arrive in John O’Groats with their bonds with the Babble team stronger than ever.”
Babble is growing quickly across the UK with the aim of providing a local service to its customers, with all the benefits of a national provider. It now has 250 staff located nationwide working from offices in London, South Coast, Midlands, North-West, North-East and Scotland. The business supports over 5,000 organisations across a broad range of sectors including financial, health and education, travel and accommodation and public services. This national presence made Babble a natural partner for Ride Across, explains Matt, “Partnering with Threshold on Ride Across Britain was an easy decision. As a business, we support clients across the UK and the route reflects our continuing journey building Babble’s footprint across Britain.”
This extended partnership is part of Babble’s continued commitment to fundraising and supporting people and communities across the UK. Matt said, “We want to be more than just a high growth technology business; we want to make a difference which is why it is so important for us to commit to raising funds for our favourite charities, The Prince’s Trust, and The Buffalo Foundation. In doing so, we’re able to play a small part in young people gaining access to opportunities which will help them to experience that same incredible feeling of accomplishment as you get completing Ride Across Britain.”
